SUMMER FRIENDLY UPDATE: Chicago Tournament Training Schedules – Legia Warsaw to train in Grant Park.

The Summer Friendly season kicks into high gear this week as the Chicago Fire gear up to host the first ever Chicago Sister Cities International Cup, featuring Paris-Saint Germain from Paris, France, Legia Warsaw from Warsaw, Poland and Red Star Belgrade from Belgrade, Serbia.

The Chicago Fire have released a training schedule for the four teams, designed to bring about attention from the local European fans and generate media interest in the tournament. The highlight of the schedule is including a fascinating and unprecedented Grant Park training session with Polish giants Legia Warsaw.

Grant Park, situated right in the heart of downtown Chicago will provide an intriguing venue for a training session with Chicago’s lakefront and skyline looming over the training. Expect Polish fans to be in large numbers to see the team practice, a truly wonderful PR move by the Chicago Fire and the City of Chicago who have worked together to establish this tournament.
