SUMMER FRIENDLY UPDATE: AC MILAN NAMES SQUAD FOR NORTH AMERICAN TRIP

North American soccer fans and organizers alike, are silently thanking Dunga, Head Coach of the Brazil National Team for not including the incomprable Ronaldinho on the roster for the 5-time World Champions.

The decision to leave Ronaldinho off of roster allows him to partake in AC Milan’s North American tour. Any fan that had a reservation about shelling out big money to see an AC Milan side weaked by World Cup duty will be able to rest easy.

The announcement Thursday that two-time World Player of the Year Ronaldinho and fellow countryman Alexandre Pato will be included in the AC Milan team that is scheduled to play DC United on May 26 and Chicago Fire on May 30, will thrill fans and organizers alike.

Milan, who will round out their North American tour in Canada where they are scheduled to play North American Soccer League side Montreal Impact at Olympic Stadium on June 2, will have more star power than the two big-name Brazillians.

World Cup Champion and AC Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini, will be joined by Italian Internationals Filippo Inzaghi and Alesandro Nesta. Ageless Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf will also be making the trip.
